About Me

Hi, my name is Pak -I am a Britsh-born Chinese and and have lived in Liverpool most of my life.

I have been photographing Liverpool buildings, events, festivals, parks and gardens and the Liverpool waterfront for about the last twenty five years,mainly as an amateur. I have been fortunate to win some awards along the way.

I particularly enjoy photographing parades and the city's diverse cultures when they come together during festivals and other celebrations. The river Mersey has also inspired me to take many photos.

My photos document how Liverpool has evolved during the past 25 years and records the social and physical changes of the city.

I admire the photojournalism style of photography as used by the photographers from the Magnum photo agency the now defunct Picture Post magazine.
